Troops capture 3 Sq Km at Adampan
Troops engaged in counter terrorist offensive operations in Mannar after a fierce battle have captured a 3 sq. km area in North Adampan. 18 terrorists have been killed in fierce gun battles that took place in Mullikandal, Minnaniranchan and Marattikannaddi areas.
Troops attacked a terror bunker at Mullikandal killing 5 terrorists and injuring 6 others. 3 soldiers were injured in the confrontation. At Minnaniranchan tiger bunkers were attacked by troops killing 5 more terrorists. 8 terrorists were also killed when troops clashed with terrorists at Marattikannaddi area. One soldier was injured.
