Israel to stop military aid to Sri Lanka?
According to diplomatic sources Israel has decided to restrict technological military aid given to Sri Lanka. The sources further say Israel has taken this decision as Sri Lanka has opted to have close relations with Iran and taking measures to obtain military aid from that country.
The reason for Israel to stop military technological aid to Sri Lanka is due to suspicion that ultra modern military hi-tech secrets would be available to Iran authorities through Sri Lanka say these sources. Hence, Israel would not make available any modern hi-tech military equipment to Sri Lanka. However, private companies that supply military equipment in Israel would continue their deals with Sri Lanka point out these sources.
