Seven buildings damaged at the Weligama clash
At least 7 buildings including a mosque and a petrol station damaged following a clash between two groups in Weligama, Matara last night. Two Sinhalese were arrested over the incident.
Meerasahib Mosque located in Old Road, a petrol shed belonging to one Mr.Hussain Mohamed, five buildings, Petrol Station and a Mosque were damaged. The tense situation in Weligama has now been brought under control.
