Sri Lanka Air Force raids LTTE points in Pooneryn
LTTE radar position located in the coast of Nagavanthurai, Pooneryn came under Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jet attack around 10 pm last night (24), according to the Ministry of Defence.
“The target was neutralized in the precision raid,” the Ministry of Defence said quoting Air Force sources.
Defence sources added that SLAF MI-24 gunships were deployed in the attack.
