Minor explosion in Central Bus depot – Pettah
A minor explosion was reported, at the Central Bus depot at Pettah- Colombo, at around 11.25 p.m.
No civilian casualties were reported Pettah Police sources said, adding that 2 buses including a public transportation bus bearing No: WP NA 3826, have sustained minor damages due to the explosion.
According to latest information from the blast site, the explosion was caused due to a parcel bomb which had been placed between the two busses that were parked at the location.
