SL Troops move towards Mullaittivu
Scoring another significant victory in the humanitarian mission to liberate the Wanni from the grip of LTTE terrorists, troops of the 59 Division operating in the Mullaittivu jungles have taken control of a part of the Kumulamunai village this afternoon, defence sources said.
Security Forces are reported to have taken a part of the road running between Tannimurippu-Kulam and Kumulamunai earlier and continued their military thrust to enter the strategically important township, Kumulamunai, located 13 km south of the LTTE stronghold, the Mullaittivu town, sources added.
