Budget passed by a majority of 42 votes
The third reading of the budget was passed with a majority of 42 votes, a short while ago. A total of 126 voted in favor while 84 voted against.
The UNP, TNA, JVP, WPF and Muslim Congress voted against the budget while all parties in Government, NFP and Uduwe dhammaloka Thera voted for the budget.
