LTTE 130mm artillery piece destroyed in Mullaittivu
Another LTTE 130mm artillery gun was reported destroyed during a combined Air Force -- Army precision strike launched in general area Northeast of Puthukkudiyirippu, this morning (March 31) at around 11.30a.m.
According to Air Force sources, the attack was launched on real-time ground and air surveillance information received. The artillery gun was engaged with precision aerial attack while been trailed into a thick canopy by terrorists using a tractor the sources further said.
Meanwhile, military technical sources confirmed LTTE’s use of heavy artillery attacks at civilians fleeing LTTE hostage at Palamathalan.
