Kelaniya University closed indefinitely
June 11, Colombo: The University of Kelaniya except the Medical Faculty has been closed indefinitely following the clash erupted this morning between students and the villagers.
The officials of the University confirmed that they have taken this decision to safeguard the students.
A massive clash erupted this morning between the villagers in the area and university students resulted in injuries to four people.
All the injured were the villagers attacked by the students, Police said.
The reopening date is to be announced later.
