Certain NGOs are trying to jeopardize National security under the pretext of tsunami disaster and the Government should crack down on these organizations say Patriotic National Movement in a statement. It further states, “It has been confirmed that certain NGOs and wretched foreign forces behind them are active at this moment to strengthen separatist terrorist forces on the pretext of bringing “humane aid.” Certain NGOs and individuals have brought in bullet proof kits, hi-powered communication equipment, helicopters, modern motor vehicles, giant generators that produce electricity etc. as tsunami aid and donate them to tiger terrorists after taking them to uncontrolled areas. Two helicopters brought down by “Evergreen” and “Neumatica”, two suspicious and disreputable organizations active in Sri Lanka, are now under the custody of S.L. Air Force indicating vividly what actually takes place on the pretext of bringing in aid. Tsunami or even a more destructive disaster happens; there is a rule that should be observed when an air craft is brought to Sri Lanka. We don’t assume that “Evergreen” and “Neumatica”, the two organizations that brought down the two helicopters, are duds who don’t understand this law. We don’t know whether the helicopters that were taken into custody the only ones that were brought to Sri Lanka clandestinely. Certain security intelligence reports indicate that though Wanni tiger organization had only one light aircraft before the tsunami disaster, in the observations made after the disaster the light aircrafts possessed by the tigers had increased to two. This aircraft too would have been ‘donated’ to the tiger terrorists after it was brought here under the pretext of ‘tsunami’ aid”
