Patriotic National Movement will hold a seminar titled ‘Responsibilities of the National Movement amidst foreign intervention’ at National Youth Centre on the 16th of this month at 3.00 p.m. The seminar has been organized by Ven. Dhambara Amila Thera, Propaganda and Publication Secretary and Member of National Council of the PNM.
Ven. Prof. Attanagalle Rathanapala Thera, Ven. Dr. Wilegoda Ariyadeva Thera, Senior lecturer Dr. Sayakkara Jayawardena and educationist Posia Hasan will address the gathering. According Ven. Amila Thera the event will highlight the national movement’s responsibilities in the face of foreign involvement and conspiracies.

Attempts by Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekera and several others to stop holding the seminar by Patriotic National Movement have failed. Amarasekera and a few others had tried to get a court order to stop the seminar being held. They have made a second attempt yesterday (12th) in Colombo District Courts which had ended in failure again.
