ZOA Project Manager asked to leave Sri Lanka

[ad#200×200]The Government has informed the Project Manager of the controversial ZOA INGO to leave the country before the fifth of this month (October), Minister of Human Rights and Disaster Management Mahinda Samarasinghe informed.

The Minister said that while the other INGO and NGO staff members adhered to the Government’s request to relocate in Vavuniya leaving un-cleared areas the decision of the ZOA project manager to stay with the LTTE prompted this decision.

Meanwhile the defence authorities have confirmed direct links of the ZOA Kilinochchi Project Manager with the internationally banned LTTE terrorists’ outfit.
