[ad#200×200]The objective of recommencing flight operations of “Mihin Air” is to make this budget service the best regional Airline, newly appointed Chairman of the Airline, Raja Edirisooriya said upon assuming duties yesterday (15).
He emphasized that although some management decisions taken for the betterment of the service could be tough the whole process of handling the management will be done in a transparent manner.
Chairman Edirisuriya noted that all steps will be taken to guarantee the job security of the staff.
“Victory should be the outcome of challenges that we undertake, the path to that goal can some times be hard,” he added.
Speaking about the extended facilities expected to be provided for the passengers, he noted that the whole management is focused on giving passengers a reasonable airfare, a safe and pleasant flight until they reach the destination of the journey.
He said that with the determination of President Mahinda Rajpaksa in recommencing the airline’s activities, the new management will seek new ways and means to expand the services of its airline in combination with the national career “Sri Lankan”.
