“Shilpa 2008” at BMICH until November 26

[ad#200×200]The handicraft exhibition organized by the National Craft Council (NCC), “Shilpa-2008”, was opened yesterday (23) and will be open to the public until November 26.

The exhibition will reflect the workmanship of traditional handicraft artists across the country and is expected to attract local and foreign buyers.

The handicraft artist who won first, second, third places and merit awards at the regional level will showcase their creations at the exhibition. Around 1000 award winning handicrafts were selected to be exhibited.

Presidential Sawana Awards and awards for the first, second and third places at the national level will be given to the top artists during the exhibition.

There are 200 trade stalls and large scale handicraft sales outlets.
