Indian Oil Company has decided to increase the price of diesel to Rs.100 a liter. As such, a liter of diesel will go up by Rs.20.00 from midnight today.
Mr. K. Ramakrishnan, Director of IOC says the company incurs a loss of Rs.43 from a liter of diesel. He says the company loses Rs.3.00 from every liter of petrol but they have not decided to increase theprice of petrol.
