[ad#200×200]The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry of Qatar, Abdullah Bin Hamad al-Attiyah agreed to consider the request for the assistance in establishing a LNG terminal in Sri Lanka once the total survey of reserves is completed in 2012. The request was made by Minister Bogollagama on an official visit to the State of Qatar recently.
The Deputy Prime Minister also agreed to provide free technical advice in Sri Lanka’s quest for the exploration of oil offshore.
