Police Special Task Force (STF) personnel attacked a group of LTTE infiltrators detected in the Panama area this morning (Apr 3). According to the defence sources, 13 bodies of LTTE cadres, five T-56 weapons and one M-16 weapon have been found during the subsequent search. The sources also said that LTTE’s explosive expert Paramanantha master is also among the dead
The police commandos launched a special operation in the area, on intelligence indicating possible LTTE presence. The attack took place close to the 10th Milepost at Lahugla around 10.30 AM.

What is happening in Sri Lanka today is similiar to what happened in Tibet several years ago. Tibetans lost their sovereignity to powerful neighbouring Chinese that outnumbered them. They are now losing their peace loving culture and eventually their language too will be obsolete. The 12 million Sinhalese who are indigenious only to Sri Lanka are the REAL minority who are trapped in their own island. They are fighting against 65 million Tamils some of whom invaded the northerm part of the island and settled there in the past as well as their supporters from Tamil Nadu in South India. S ri Lanka is the one and only homeland for the Sinhalese that they have shared and are still sharing with Tamils and other races peacefully, as evidenced by multi-racial populations in the south western parts of the island while the northern parts are occupied only by Tamils due to ethnic cleansing by the LTTE. Tamil Nadu is the homeland of the Tamils and in Sri Lanka LTTE is fighting for a second homeland, a home away from home.. Western world has been misled by LTTE propadanda that both Sinhalese and Tamil races migrated to Sri Lamka from India but the fact is that the Sinhalese lived in Sri lanka from pre historic times and their origins are unknown but definitely, they did not come from any part of India. This can be proven as Sinhalese is not spoken in any part/province/village or even a family in India while Tamil is the major language in South India. Sinhalese who are a world minority have a written langauage with a unique ancient alphabet, were the first to use hydraulic irrigation systems, have a rich culture. The threat from rich and powerful Tamils all over the world and NGOs that are misled by LTTE propaganda can result in Sinhalese losing their only place on earth
