MULLATTIVU: SRI Lanka Air Force helicopters, irrespective of the risks involved in the decision, flew into the “No Fire Zone” itself Monday (20) afternoon and rescued as many as two hundred LTTE injured Tamil civilians who were fleeing from the LTTE grip.
Air Force helicopters have by 16.00 hours (local time) Monday (20) brought down as many as some two hundred badly injured civilians two VAVUNIYA and ANURADHAPURA hospitals for immediate treatment after they were fired upon by terrorists while escaping the LTTE grip.
