A body believed to be that of Tamil Tiger founder leader Vellupillai Prabhakaran has been found but the identity of the corpse has not been confirmed, Sri Lankan military sources said on Sunday.
“They are taking the body for checks to confirm it is the real Prabhakaran,” one military official said on conditions of anonymity. Four other military sources confirmed the recovery and said identity checks were under way.
However Sri Lanka military denied the report.

Let’s face it. He was not perfect. He may have had a cause – a good one. And obviously it has not been handled very well either. Look at the results today! What end-outcome is there to be proud of? Could all this have been taken a different direction, a better path with a better outcome??? Can some theorists or play writers pen out a what-if-otherwsie might have been situation? A fictional book of a better decisions and a better outcome would make for interesting reading. He made gross mistakes too. And just too many people paid with their lives and livelihoods most dearly!
