Sri Lanka owned business chain outlets attacked by LTTE mobs in London

Suspected Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) supporters in London attacked five outlets of a Sri Lankan owned fast food chain called “Sam’s Chicken”.

The owner of the chain Sam Chandrasinha said five of his outlets have been damaged. When requested the Scotland Yard was able to tell about one incident and issued the following statement:

“We can confirm that we are investigating an allegation of criminal damage at Sam’s Chicken on Kingsbury High Road.

The incident is alleged to have occurred at approx 01:00hrs on 20/5/09. The Violent Crime Unit based at Kilburn will be investigating the matter. There have been no arrests. No persons were injured. The venue was closed at the time of the alleged incident Investigations are ongoing.”
