Supreme Court dismissed the Re-count petition

Sarath Fonseka being escorted out of the Supreme Court premises by prison officials. The former Army Commander was present at court today (29 October) when the petition filed by him regarding the Presidential Election was taken up for hearing. However the Supreme Court dismissed the petition by upholding on a preliminary objection raised on behalf of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
