[ad#200×200] Failed “Black Tiger” Wanni Mission Kills Tiger Leader “Vengamanan” as One LTTE Artillery Gun Made Defunct.
VAVUNIYA: TUESDAY (9) morning counter artillery fire, directed by troops at the Wanni Security Forces Headquarters (SFHQ), in response to near two-hour string of LTTE artillery shells, has claimed the life of VENGAMANAN, a leading Tiger leader who was actively engaged in firing salvos towards the SFHQ.
One of the LTTE artillery guns, it was confirmed, had also turned completely defunct following the retaliatory artillery shells fired by the troops. Terrorists after reaching un-cleared areas north of OMANTHAI through dense jungles have reportedly positioned the guns in the night, most probably a couple of hours before terrorist aircraft flew in for the SFHQ mission during early hours on Tuesday (9).
The failure of the suicide mission of the so-called “Black Tigers,” widely notorious for their precise suicide targets, would drive a humiliating blow to the terrorist outfit at a time their terror might is steadily and speedily declining in an unprecedented manner.
