The Ambalangoda new fisheries harbor built at a cost of Rs. 640 million has been declared open. Construction work of this project was undertaken by the Fisheries Harbours Corporation according to development.lk.
The foundation stone for the construction of this harbor was laid by President Mahinda Rajapakse when he was the Minister of Fisheries in the previous government. Oil and water required for the boats are also available at the harbor premises itself, reported the Media Centre for National Development of Sri Lanka.
