President Mahinda Rajapaksa inaugurated the construction of the first Phase of Colombo outer Circular Highway from Kaduweal to Kottawa with financial assistance from JAICA on 7th December. He ceremonially opened the plaque and inspected the road development project and sites closer by.
Later President Rajapaksa attended the publicity rally organised by the local politicians for the upcoming Presidential election at Kaduwela junction.
