[ad#200×200] TWO ACCURATE air target taken by fighter jet of the Sri Lanka Air Force Friday (6th) have reportedly killed a number of LTTE terrorist and injured another score.
The first air attack on an underground bunker, located about 1km north west of PUTHUKUDIYIRIPPU junction, in which LTTE Sea Tiger leader SOOSAI was said to be present, around 1.30 p.m. completely destroyed it coursing heavy damages to the LTTE.
After about three hours, fighter jet pounded two backhoe machines busy removing earth and concrete pieces of the destroyed bunker in search of terrorists buried in side.
LTTE communication intercepted by the troops has later announced that SOOSAI was missing after the attack.
