[ad#200×200]Two persons, including the female suicide bomber, died while five others were injured in the attack in Boralesgamuwa this morning, Kalubowila hospital sources said.
The deceased, a surveyor, happens to be the uncle of a doctor at the hospital who was attending to the injured, sources added. He had succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to the hospital. Two of the patients were taken direct to the National Hospital, Colombo while the others were treated at the Colombo South Hospital, Kalubowila.
The suicide bomber is reported to have jumped at the security convoy of the Minister of Agricultural Development & Agrarian Services Development, Maithripala Sirisena.
