Colombo (Source: News1st.lk) – Colombo Municipal Councillor Nurdeen Mohammad Tajudeen has been arrested by the Police in connection to the discovery of 46 swords from the Slave Island area yesterday (April 26).

According to the Police, a total of 3 suspects have been arrested in connection to the discovery of the weapons.

A total of 46 swords, 15 knives and 25 army uniforms were discovered during a raid conducted at a mosque in the Slave Island area.

Further investigations are continuing.
